Edición especial de Universo Melódico en la cual hemos tenido ocasión de charlar con Pablo Perea, cantante, músico y compositor que fuera lider del grupo la Trampa, con motivo de la edición de un nuevo trabajo en directo en donde hace un extenso repaso de su carrera, interpretando temas tanto de su antigua banda como pertenecientes a su época en solitario. La presentación de este disco se llevará a cabo el próximo jueves 23 de Abril en la Sala Cats de Madrid. Para más información visitad www.pablo-perea.com o bien www.myspace.com/pablopereaylatrampa Además también hemos tenido ocasión de escuchar el nuevo album de Hardline, 'Leaving the end open', que ya habíamos estrenado en el programa y que responde a las expectativas depositadas en esta mítica banda liderada por el vocalista Johnny Gioeli. Tras Hardline suenan los suecos Bai Bang, con su nuevo trabajo 'Are you ready', en el cual encontramos hard melódico sueco de buena factura al estilo de bandas como Wig Wam. Composiciones con estribillos y coros potentes y pegadizos. Finalmente y para cerrar la parte melódica del programa, escuchamos por segunda vez el nuevo proyecto del vocalista Thomas Vikstrom, llamado Covered call, y que se edita bajo el título 'Money never sleeps'. La recta final de Universo Melódico la dedicamos a presentaros a algunas de las bandas que estarán actuando este fin de semana en la segunda edición del MAMFest (Madrid Art Music Festival). Suenan en primer lugar Galadriel, con su reciente trabajo 'Calibrated collision sourse', y cierran el programa After Crying con su directo 'Struggle for life' y el tema "Pilgrim's March" que podría considerarse como uno de los clásicos de esta respetada banda procedente de Hungría.
